How does home delivery work?

Choose an available 2-hour delivery window that suits you best and be there to answer the door to receive your local, regeneratively farmed groceries!


When do I qualify for free delivery?

Orders over $250 qualify for free delivery!

Where is home delivery available?

Click “Create Account” on the homepage and type in your postal code to see if home delivery is available in your area. If we don’t deliver to your area, don’t worry!  We have pick-up locations available!   

Do I have to be home to receive my order?


Yes!  We offer a two-hour delivery window so you’ll know when your box will be delivered.  Please freeze/refrigerate your box as soon as possible as they do not have insulation to reduce waste.  Due to the nature of food products, we do not accept returns or refunds.

What happens if I miss my delivery window?


Please be sure to be home during your two-hour delivery window. If you miss your window, the driver will call you, if you’re unable to receive your order or miss the call, the driver will bring your order to the final pickup location of the day (you can find the schedule on the sidebar of the pickup locations tab) and it'll be available for you to pickup same-day at the time window noted on the schedule.   

How does the pick-up location work?


Choose the most convenient pick-up location and arrive on the pick-up date with your receipt to avoid any order confusion.  

Why is my cart subtotal an estimate?


The disclaimer at checkout states that the price listed is an estimate.  Many items are charged by the pound and we cannot guarantee the exact total before packing due to variances in the weight of cuts.  

Can I skip an order in my subscription?


Yes!  If you know ahead of time that you’ll be away or won’t be home to receive an order, please skip your order as soon as possible.

When is the latest I can skip/cancel an order?


You can cancel your subscription at any time, but please be aware that due to our shipping system, we require 7 days notice from the date your box will be shipped.  If you cancel your subscription after 7 days, your order will be shipped and you will still be responsible for payment. 

How much is shipping?


Shipping is a flat fee of $15.99 + a $3.99 ferry fee for home delivery.  For our pickup locations, you only pay the $3.99 ferry fee.

What is the minimum order?

For home delivery, the minimum order is $115.  If you select a pickup location, there's no minimum order!

Do I need to keep my eggs refrigerated?

Yes.  We ship your eggs in a refrigerated truck at 4° Celsius.  Our farmers recommend that you keep them at this temperature. 

How should I thaw my order of meat?


The safest way to thaw meat is in the fridge!  Take the meat out of the freezer and refrigerate the night before you intend to cook.

Why should I buy from local, regenerative farms?


By buying from local regenerative farms, whether it be through Crop Drop or farmer's markets, you stimulate the local economy and vote with your dollar for a better future.  Regenerative farming practices prioritize the health and well-being of the animal, ecosystem, and climate. 

Is your beef grass-fed, grass-finished?


Yes!  All our beef is 100% grass-fed, grass-finished.

Is your meat pasture-raised?


Yes!  All our meat is pasture-raised.  Shelter is provided for unfavourable conditions but the animals always have access to feed, water, and the outdoors.

You can find out more about our farmers here.  We routinely meet with our partner farms to maintain trust and a quality line of communication to keep you updated.

Is your honey pasteurized?


No!  Our honey is local, minimally filtered, and unpasteurized.
